Ensuring the privacy and dignity of all our adults is paramount. Individuals have their own studio suite comprising of, private bedroom with en-suite facilities and kitchenette.
We ensure that all staff are supplied with a personal copy of the Code of Practice, originally published by the General Social Care Council, for social care workers and that they abide by this code. Para 1.4 of the code states that social care workers must protect the rights and promote interests by “Respecting and maintaining the dignity and privacy of service users”.
Camino Healthcare Group ensures that adults are always treated with respect and that their right to privacy is upheld, about:
- personal care
- consultation with, and examination by, health and social care professionals
- consultation with legal and financial advisors
- maintaining social contact with friends and relatives
- entering studio suites with adults’s permission
